John Wharfe, Director
A qualified Advanced Mechanical Pipefitter John has worked in the industry for over 35 years. Starting as an apprentice at Haden Young Ltd John has experience as a Pipefitter and Welder, Site Foreman and Contracts Manager. He became Westminster Building Services Ltd.’s Director in 2012 and since then the company has grown under his leadership. John retains day-to-day oversight of on-going projects as well as overall responsibility for health and safety. John is Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualified.
Rachel Riley, General Manager
Rachel graduated from the University of Kent in 1998 with a BA (Hons) in Communications and Image Studies. Her early marketing career was within the publishing business with roles at the Daily Mail Group and Reed Exhibitions. After gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Interactive and Direct Marketing (PG Dip IDM) Rachel moved into the charity sector working at charities including Centrepoint, The British Lung Foundation and Addaction. Prior to moving to the construction industry in July 2014, Rachel was the Director of Fundraising at Spinal Research responsible for raising in excess of £2M annually.
